Quizlet began as a simple online learning tool, today it offers students the opportunity to make flashcards, practice spelling, play learning games, test their knowledge, and collaborate with other students and more. Quizlet is proud to be the most popular online educational service in the United States, used by more than 20 million students and teachers each month.
Quizlet helps improve your students’ school results by studying with flashcards, games and more. This tool keeps students engaged and motivated and offers an opportunity for them to work collaboratively. As a teacher you can create your own classroom sets, collaborate with other teachers and give your students materials to help them learn in a fun and more efficient way. It’s free and easy to get started with.

1. First, go to https://quizlet.com/ in your navigation bar.

2. Then, register or sign up with a Google or Facebook account.

3. Once there, you can start creating your own “study set”. Click on “Create”.

4. Write the title of you study set. DO NOT forget to choose the language. On the left you will be able to right the terms and on the right, the definition.

5. Once you have finished writing the terms and definition, click on “create”.

6. Now, you have to add your study set to a new or existing class.

7. Now, you will be able to access to YOUR CLASS on the right side of the screen.

8. Now, choose your study set. It’s time to explore the different things you can do with it!

9. Now, on the right side (in red) you will be able to use activities like flashcards with definition, learn by writing the words, practise spelling or testing yourself by a tool that auto-generates texts with the given topic. On the left side (in green), Quizlet offers two games. One is about matching the terms to the definitions and the other is about writing the definition.

1. After having worked with 4 units of the book, the next lesson will be aimed at revising the vocabulary the students have seen.
2. The students will go to the lab classroom and will access https://quizlet.com/. They will be divided in groups of three and each group will be assigned one unit. They will be asked to create their own “study set”.
