Emaze is an online presentation platform where users can create, manage and share their presentations through their cloud-based system. Emaze offers a variety of templates including formats using 3D animations and video backgrounds.
It is a useful tool for those students who are visual and need this kind of support. Besides, information can be displayed in more appealing ways.

1) Click on “Register” to create a free account.

2) Click to create a new presentation.

3) You will have several templates to choose. Select the one that is more appropriate for your work. There are different layouts to choose.

4) When a new tab is opened, you will be able to add images, media, text, shapes and charts. Just by clicking you will be able to add wherever you want.

5) You can keep on choosing the slides you want and their format.

6) When you finish your presentation, you click on “play” and you can see it in a displayed way.

7) You can share your presentations or make them private.

Level: 3rd year
Age: 15 and 16 years old
Topic: History– English Monarchs in the 16th century.

After having discussed in class the life of the most important monarchs in England in the 16th century, you will have to prepare a visual and dynamic summary using Emaze (https://app.emaze.com).

Choose among 6-8 kings and write:
  • Their full name, when they were born and when they died.
  • Their main family tree.
  • Their most important historical achievements during their reign.
You should follow the appropriate historical time line. You should include images and at least one video or audio file. Remember to include the sources of your information at the end of the presentation.

When you finish, show it to your classmates and think of an activity for them to solve.
